Directions and Parking
The Granoff Music Center is located at 20 Talbot Avenue on the Tufts Medford/Somerville campus. However, because the Tufts mailing address is in Medford, some GPS systems and online map search engines get confused by the Music Center's physical location in Somerville. If you are having trouble finding us, enter "217 College Avenue, Somerville, MA" as your destination. This will get you to the intersection of College Avenue and Talbot Avenue, and the Granoff Music Center is just up the street from there.
By Public Transportation
There are now two ways to get to the Granoff Music Center on the train! The most direct is to take the MBTA Green Line E train to the Tufts/Medford station. Disembark near the intersection of College Avenue and Boston Avenue and cross the street. Follow the wrought iron fence along College Avenue and past the Memorial Steps. Take the second right onto Talbot Avenue, and the Granoff Music Center is the first building on the left.
Alternatively, take the MBTA Red Line to the Davis Square station. At Davis Square, cross to the bus terminal at the corner of College Avenue. Follow College Avenue through the traffic circle at Powderhouse Square, and along the athletic fields to your left (the total distance is about 3/4 of a mile). Take a left on Talbot Avenue. The Granoff Music Center is the first building on the left.
There is a free shuttle that runs between Davis Square and Tufts University every half hour during the academic year (September through May).
The Granoff Music Center is also accessible via the 80, 94, and 96 bus routes. Get off at the “College Avenue at Professors Row” (southbound) or “Dearborn Road” (northbound) stops, and turn right onto Talbot Avenue at the T intersection just south of each stop. The Granoff Music Center is the first building on the left.

- Once this information is submitted, your parking is all set, and you may depart in your vehicle!
- If you ever receive a parking citation from the university in error, send an E-mail to Jeff Rawitsch, Granoff Music Center Manager, at jeffrey.rawitsch@tufts.edu. Please include a photo of the citation and brief description of which event you were attending when the citation was issued.
