Academics

The department offers a major in Music, Sound, and Culture, as well as minors in Music, Music Engineering, and Multimedia Arts.

Music master's students have the opportunity to concentrate their studies in one of five sub-disciplines: Composition, Conducting, Ethnomusicology, Musicology, and Theory.

The department provides students the opportunity for private study of instrumental and/or vocal performance in a broad range of styles.
