Summer Music @ Tufts

The Summer Music @ Tufts program offers an engaging, arts‑focused experience for children ages 7���12. Participants explore a wide range of musical activities—including singing, drumming, small‑group instrument instruction (piano, violin, guitar, ukulele) and music and movement—all within the Granoff Music Center at Tufts University. The program also incorporates outdoor recreation, games, and community‑building activities that support creativity, collaboration, and confidence. Each day includes lunch in the Tufts dining hall, giving students the opportunity to enjoy meals together as part of the campus experience.
The 2026 Summer Music @ Tufts program runs Monday–Friday, July 27 through August 7, with daily programming from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. On the final day, Friday, August 7, families are invited to join us for a celebratory concert from 3:30–5:30 p.m., showcasing what students have learned and created during their time in the program.
Early applicants pay a total of $1150, which includes a $150 non‑refundable deposit due at registration and a $1000 balance due by June 15, 2026. Limited financial aid is available only to applicants who apply before June 15 and have submitted their deposit. Registrations after June 15, 2026 are accepted only if space remains; late applicants incur a $50 fee and are not eligible for financial aid. Extended day (aftercare) is available for an additional fee of  $15/hour.
