Biography
Abe Brownell is the Staff Assistant at the Tufts University Department of Music. He graduated from Bates College in 2020 with a B.A. in Philosophy. Abe’s academic interests include phenomenology, Buddhist philosophy (particularly Nagarjuna and Dogen), and the philosophy of science. He also freelances as a producer, composer, and audio engineer. He is currently working on the music and sound for a feature length indie film. Outside his musical and philosophical lives, Abe enjoys coffee, gong-fu style tea, and his newfound passion for photography.
