Jeffrey Rawitsch
Biography
Jeffrey Rawitsch has served as the Granoff Music Center Manager since July 2009. He oversees general building maintenance and upkeep, instruments and equipment, security monitors, ensemble set-up crews, concert/event production and staffing, rentals, and box office. Users looking to book the performance spaces in the music center are welcome to contact him with questions regarding availability and rental fees. Jeff has served in various capacities in the department since he was a student himself, starting in the fall of 2000, and he earned a BA (2004) and MA (2009) in Child Development from Tufts. Outside of his official duties for Tufts Music, Jeff sings and plays guitar in the family and children’s concert series under the moniker “Rainbow Jeff". Taking after his idol in the music industry, “Weird Al” Yankovic, Jeff can also be seen at department special events serenading departing staff and student employees with song parodies in their honor.
