In an attempt to make the transition to graduate school more seamless, a pair of master's students at Tufts' Eliot-Pearson Department of Child Study and Human Development are implementing a new mentorship program that pairs first-year master's and Ph.D. students with a more experienced student mentor.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Congresswomen Katherine Clark and Lori Trahan, made a special visit to the Eliot-Pearson Department of Child Study and Human Development and accompanying lab school to learn about its innovative approach to early childhood education.

Eliot-Pearson Department of Child Study and Human Development has been providing feedback to Healthy Families Massachusetts (HFM), a publicly funded program run by the Children’s Trust Massachusetts to support young, first-time mothers.
