In Memory of William Parker Oliver, Professor Emeritus, High Energy Physics

Recognizing that the COVID-19 pandemic has led to major disruption in the lives of students everywhere, our Department has decided that for the 2021/21 graduate admission cycle (i.e., Fall 2021 start of the PhD or Ms programs), both the general and Physics subject GRE scores will be optional. At this time, this is a one-year-only exception.

Prior to arriving on campus on any day, faculty, staff, students, residents including postdoctoral scholars and doctoral students will need to complete a Daily Health Screening Survey to attest that they are not experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 or have recently come into contact with someone who is confirmed to have COVID-19. Upon completing the survey, individuals will immediately receive an email confirmation whether they can come to campus. Those approved to come to campus may be required to show the email (on mobile app or printed) to a school administrator, supervisor or building security guard upon arrival.
