Majors and Minors

Tufts provides its undergraduates the resources of a major research university and the attention of a liberal arts college. You can major or minor in more than 90 undergraduate programs and have your pick from thousands of undergraduate courses. Along with courses toward their major, undergraduate students in the School of Arts and Sciences take courses in writing, foreign language and culture, and world civilization, and also fulfill distribution requirements in humanities, social sciences, the arts, natural sciences, and mathematics.

School of Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts Univeristy:

BFA Program
This SMFA at Tufts program combines an in-depth, rigorous liberal arts education with intensive studio arts training.

BA/BS + BFA Combined Degree Program
Graduates of the combined degree program receive two degrees within five years: a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science.

School of Engineering:

All minors offered by the School of Arts & Sciences are open to Engineering students. Visit the School of Engineering website for a list of engineering majors and minors.
