Tufts provides its undergraduates the resources of a major research university and the attention of a liberal arts college. You can major or minor in more than 90 undergraduate programs and have your pick from thousands of undergraduate courses. Along with courses toward their major, undergraduate students in the School of Arts and Sciences take courses in writing, foreign language and culture, and world civilization, and also fulfill distribution requirements in humanities, social sciences, the arts, natural sciences, and mathematics.
